PRIME FITNESS

In this course, we will focus our attention on Faculty/Staff group fitness classes on a college campus. We will learn about this fantastic group of people and how to expertly program classes for them to meet their fitness needs and goals. Group Fitness classes for the active ager, or as I like to call it, Prime Fitness, can be a rich and rewarding experience for both the participants and the instructor.

Learning Objectives:

  1. You will be able to understand the essential health and fitness goals for this demographic of people.

  2. You will learn how to plan and program an entire class with these goals in mind and how to organize the class appropriately.

  3. The 'WHY' of class design and programming will be clear and allow you to instruct this class with the utmost confidence.
