Shannon Briggs is a seasoned multi-passionate fitness professional with a diverse background spanning over 30 years in the dance and fitness industries. Her journey began in Austin, where her passion for dance and competition was ignited during her teenage years as a member of the high school drill team. Shannon's impressive resume includes roles such as performer, competitor, choreographer, instructor, trainer, and writer.

As a World-Famous Kilgore College Rangerette alumna, Shannon now proudly serves as their personal trainer, passing on her extensive knowledge and expertise to the next generation of elite collegiate dancers. Her primary goal is to empower dancers with the physical strength, resilience, and endurance needed to excel in their craft while minimizing the risk of injury, with a particular focus on strength training to promote longevity in the demanding world of dance.

Since the 1990s, Shannon has been teaching group fitness classes and offering personal training services tailored to individuals of all ages, customizing workouts to suit their specific needs and fitness levels. In 2021, she founded her own business, CREATED FOR MORE PT, formalizing her dedication to helping others achieve their fitness goals. Shannon holds multiple certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Senior Fitness Specialist, demonstrating her commitment to ongoing professional development.

Shannon also contributes to the fitness industry as a writer, sharing her expertise through articles published on platforms such as the MedFit Network and Campus Rec Magazine. She has developed curriculum and manuals accredited by reputable organizations like ACE, NASM, and AFAA, further solidifying her reputation as a thought leader in the field.

Shannon's dedication to staying abreast of industry trends is evident through her leadership in conducting continuing education workshops for fitness professionals, covering a range of topics in group fitness and personal training. Her certifications and professional memberships, including those with ACE, AFAA/NASM, TRX, and others, underscore her commitment to excellence in her profession.

In essence, Shannon Briggs is not just a fitness expert but also a passionate advocate for empowering individuals through strength and wellness.
